Who We Help

At One Earth Mortgage, we donate 1/3 of our profits to the charities you, our customers, care about the most. Thats more than 50 times what the average company gives. We dont like to brag, but we do feel its important that you understand we are fundamentally a different kind of business.

We are in the process of developing programs that funnel our donations to a small number of highly reputable organizations that work in specific issue areas. You, our valued customer, can choose one of these programs or simply tell us the specific organization youd like us to support on your behalf.

We have many programs in the works, and here are just a few that might be of interest:

Buy a Home. Give a Home - 1/3 of profits support organizations that help provide homes for low income families or shelter for the homeless. Possible recipients of these monies would include organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.

Women Helping Women - 1/3 of profits support organizations serving women. Possible recipients of these monies would include organizations such as Breast Cancer Action.

Homeowners for Kids - 1/3 of profits support organizations serving children. Possible recipients of these monies would include organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Supporting the Arts - 1/3 of profits support organizations that support the arts. Possible recipients of these monies would include organizations such as Bloomington Area Arts Council.

Preserving Our Environment - 1/3 of profits support organizations that work to preserve the environment. Possible recipients of these monies would include organizations such as The Sierra Club.

Think Globally. Act Locally - 1/3 of profits support only local organizations working in your community. You can choose this option in conjunction with another specific cause or organization.
